Don't suppose you have a photo of the feet or know what colour they are are and size?
My guess is australorps, which is a mix breed. I'm guessing this only because it does look a bit like my Orpingtons but not completely, more miniature and has the build of a typical egg laying breed unlike the orphs. Could be an Orpington bantam or some other bantam Orpington mix. |

thanks, they are dark feeted, and regular size i think!! the birds themselves were quite large, but probably normal average chicken size!!!

That sounds like them, I am even more convinced now with the colour of the feet although I wrong lots lol. I will ask my "mother in law" though when I next see her, failing that I will try and find the number of the guy who we got our girlies from as I am sure he will know. |
