Hi All, This little fella just shed and thought i would post some pics! We are still trying to work out what this guy is? Maybe Hypo Lavender Motley ph Caramel Bloodred or Amber Lavender Motley ph Bloodred?

Some think he is a Ghost Motley but he is more than that and there were no other sign of Anery in the clutch!

Stunning special fella tho

Thanks Tiff!

What about the eyes in this pic eeij?

This is the pic that confused everyone! Also the yellow on the neck confuses everyone! But i am hoping it is a Amber Lavender Motley and the Caramel gene is only affecting the neck line as it does on a Anery Caramel?

Or i am hoping for the best it could be from the parents as it is very possible!

Time will tell i guess!

My first thoughts (As is seems with a lot of people) was Ghost Motley. The parents can't have produced that if there is no Anery kicking around in them. I've seen a number of caramel and lavender combos now and it is a really interesting phenotype because sometimes caramel totally masks lavender and sometime the other way around as well. I've only seen one good example of a corn that was homozygous for both caramel and lavender and they called it peach.

I really don't see either caramel or lavender in the eyes and it doesn't like look any of the caramel/lavender combos i have seen.

We are working on a couple of caramel lavender projects here over the next couple of years so we will see how it turns out. In fact I'm breeding 1.1 het Hypo Caramel Lavender Diffused this year so lets see what we get.

Cheers

Hi Ads, Yeah i have see the peach morph! I also hunted everywhere looking for a Amber lavender motley and the only one i found looked nothing like this one!

You really need to see this little one in the flesh to see the colour of him! I think he will get lighter with shedding too!

Be very interesting in a few years when he is up to size!

Yeah be good to see the results of that pairing! Steve thinks he has a plasma Caramel which i will defo have to pop up and see!
