I have just got my first cornsnake, well first snake of any kind ;) Seems to be settling well as set up the viv yesterday and went back for him/her today.
He keeps climbing up the glass in one corner not sure if its to get warmer or trying to escape already lol.
He's around 3 months old and looking forward to first feed in a few days once he's settled.

Welcome to the forum.
What size is the viv? Does he have plenty of places to hide? Just wondered if maybe he is trying to find a safe hiding place. |

Cheers for the welcome.
The viv is roughly 2ft by 1ft and around 18" tall, was told that'll last till he's roughly 1 year old or 3ft.
Has 3 hides, one in warm end, 1 in cool end and one in middle, has been curled up in warm end under a false plant and log type hide for a couple of hours now.
Lid is pretty secure and weighty so fingers crossed he can't do a houdini ;) |
