Hi Guys,

I am a firm believer of record keeping for any snake. I have attached a link to a record keeping spreadsheet I have produced for recording all the basics about snakey.

The spreadsheet will work out how many days until feeding day and will highlight if you are overdue for a feed. It is fully customisable and I hope that it helps some people to keep records more easily.

The spreadsheet records the following:

SNAKES NAME
HATCH DATE
PURCHASED DATE
DAYS BETWEEN FEEDS
NEXT FEED DUE
LAST FEED
DAYS OVERDUE FOR A FEED
DATE SHED
DATE FED
WHAT THE SNAKE ATE (PINKY, FUZZY ETC...)
DATE OF LAST DEEP CLEAN OF VIV
DATE AND WEIGHT OF THE SNAKE
ADDITIONAL NOTES
AND A ROUGH FEEDING GUIDE (MUNSON PLAN)

If there is anything that I have missed that you think would improve the sheet let me know and I will try to implement it.

Here is the link anyway

Hope this is of some help to some people especially newbies.

Thanks for reading

Stu

You could add a section for shedding records perhaps, what do you think? Also any genetic history you may have.

Looks good! I've got a calender on my wall but I'd like to get it on a pc so I can make a graph of my snakes weight over time.
