Impressive, but look how much its scales had distended, you could see through them! Admittedly the egg was crushed very fast and the shell regurged but I remember reading somewhere (sorry can't think where :() about some snakes that will eat things that are DEFINITELY too big. Big enough that the snake will quite literally rip open. Then the snake disappears for a few months to digest and heal up before doing it all over again!

Am guessing at an African egg eater? It's perfectly normal for them to be massively distended. whoever said they split themselves the heal is wrong, if they split their stomach they die. |

that never ceases to amaze me! i looked into getting an egg eater before i settled on the baby rainbow boa i actually got last week! its amazing they dont cut themselves when you see how stretched their skin is/ how sharp egg shells are! damn nature, you scary! |
