Well I was advised to get a Beardie, never something I would consider, until I handled one, and watched videos on them eating and how there personalities are and such like.
And so I bought one, he's a gorgeous 2 year old male.
Apparently fully grown but personally I think he will go a bit bigger as he seems small for a fully grown adult.
Not got a name yet so suggestions welcome.
Heres some pictures of him been teased by his food.

I did too Tiff, and yes he didn't seem to mind.
Apart from when the other Locust dropped from his viv roof and he kicked the one off his head at it then decided to munch both in one lol.
He has so much character.
My mum isn't quite so keen hahaha.

He's a lovely fella. Like his hat too!
They do vary quite a bit in size even as adults. I thought my male was a good size and then I saw some at a tropical gardens that made him look small!
You could always google some dragon names,or maybe some famous people with beards!!
I must be a weird mum,its me that encourages the kids lol!!

haha greats photos! Reminds me of the clip on 'you've been framed' when the baby throws its food up onto its head and then looks around to see where it went!

The first pic really does look like he's trying to pull some japanese manga face with a locust shaped hat on!
