hi new to snakes just got a corn snake 18 months old aprox 3ft long can someone please advice would beech chip be a good substratw |

I use zoo med repti cage carpet! Its wonderful stuff, no risk of your beloved corn from swallowing any loose substrate, easy to clean, looks good, non-toxic etc etc.... |

If you decide to use beech chips make sure you give them plenty of time to dry out before putting using them. |

yeah i find my snake likes to use it as a hide away too can see his tracks in it funny thing is it not that deep so can always see where he is!! tho he thinks he is hidden lol bless |
