is it common for young corns to be a bit boysterous. sometimes ozzy is fine very calm but just before he is due to poo he gets quite agitated and leaps from my hands etc so i tend to leave him be around this time.

I just wondered if this is something you have experienced with your corns?

Yeah, it's fine, how young have you had him for? He's probably just finding things out.

if they're having a very active spurt putting them back is probably the safest thing to do.......rather than risk squeezing, dropping or losing him lol

Aww, bless him. Yes his actions are quite normal. I don't blame you putting him back when he's like that. It's better than him escaping or you hurting him try to hang on. Also if he does this around toilet time it's better to put him away than get pooped on!!!

Hahaha I had no idea corn snakes could jump, until one day my mom held him...next thing I know Doyle is half way across the room and my mom was screaming!

but yh, best to put him back when he's like it just incase he goes jumping from any heights!
