First up,the cobra impression!

He'll be 4 months old tomorrow I haven't a clue on his length as he's settling in at the mo sorry. I'd hazard a guess at 40 cms approx as Loki is slightly larger and he's approx 45cms. They are in a 3 foot partitioned viv. So they've both got 1 and a half foot each. |

Ooh,that was a good guess then lol!! I got worried a bit ago as someone had posted the weight and length of a hatchling the same age as Loki and it was a lot heavier. After asking about it on here I was reassured by everyone and I'm not worried at all now. They'll gradually fatten up,but they could be nice long lean snakes. |

Thankyou drchino and herriotfan. Yes,he does seem to be very confident especially when I compare him to how Loki was when we first got him. Loki would have done a runner if I'd got that close to him! He was really calm when I got him out of his tub to put in the viv too, even though he'd been on an hour long car journey. Really surprised me! Bet you're glad your snakes ok with the camera now eh. So beautiful you have to photograph them don't you |

Thanks,I'm totally smitten He's proved how confident he is today. Went to put his water bowl in the viv after changing the water and he came out from under his plant to check my hand out,had a good smell, then eyed up the open door and sauntered off really calmly. Seemed really intrigued with what was going on |

Thanks, well the day is finally here. Probably won't sleep tonight with the excitement! Bet you loved having a proper handle of her today, hope it went well. Torture isn't it,finally being able to get hold of them and then having another 2 days of no handling on top of that afterwards! |
