i tried to get a proper macro shot of cassius tonight using my DSLR. (for those of you who are into photography i only have manual exstension tubes not a true macro lens, for those who arent into photography this means its really hard to get a good shot!)

the original pic is enromous - 4657x2905 pixels. didnt think that would display too well on the forums so i resized it - looks great as my desktop wallpaper tho

Thats a great shot, really good especially considering it's not technically with a macro lens! I find it so hard to keep Izzy still for my macro shots! Don't have image stabilization on my macro lens either so I have to keep relatively long shutter speeds, makes it so much harder!!!

What a fantastic shot.

Btw rosyw to change the subject but what camera have you got?

I've got a Fuji Finepix S5700 which is a great camera but I'm interested in going for one of the new Panasonic Lumix cameras, what do you think?

Best wishes

Catherine xx
