Think this may be the start of a hunger strike again?
It was nov last year she stopped eating for 3/4 months.. eventually got her back into a routine, along comes oct again and no feed the other nite!
im thinking she might actually be a he? she/he is very active at the mo but didnt click on untill she missed a feed on tues! isnt it breeding season?
we have also just moved house but she has eaten since we moved.
I know its only 1 feed shes missed so far but it was so stressfull last year when she stopped eating! cant help but worry!
any1 else having probs? with male or female?
ps. she was probed when i 1st got her and she has a short tail!

its not the breeding season really but winter is the time when they would naturally brumate and stop feeding in preparation for breeding in spring
a drop in pressure with the colder weather, the cooler ambient temp and reducing daylight hours are all things picked up on by snakes so they know what season it is and they can then act accordingly
you can try and fool them into thinking it's not coming up to winter by controlling the 'daylight hours' with artificial light and raising the ambient temp but it's not guaranteed to work and i doubt if it benefits the snake in the longer term  |

I had this last year and am expecting it this year too. At least you know what to expect when it does happen although for me it was later in the year around january

We get lots of worried owners on here in the spring who's snakes just won't eat and do all sorts of strange things because of the breeding season!

it could just be the move that's upset her
you could try fooling her into thinking it's not as late in the year as it really is by incresing daylight hours slightly using a light on a timer and raising the ambient temperature often done just by having the central heating on n your house |
