Right,I have a 3 foot viv. The problem is I'm not sure what size heat mat to get for it as they are either too long or too short for the width of it.
The internal length is 34 inches. The internal width though is 16 and a quarter inches and the mats are either 11" by 11" or 11" by 17" so its either too short or too long widthways!!

Do I get a 17" by 11" and have so its 17 lengthways as 11" by 11" isn't a third os the size of the viv?

Rambled a bit here I know, hope it makes sense?!

Our 3ft viv has a 17" x 11" heat mat and this works fine. We did try the 11" x 11" and found that it was on the small side. The 17" x 11" also helps to keep air temps up slightly which we personally have trouble with in the winter. The 17" x 11" still provides a cool end, its just not quite as large!
