im handling cassius regularly and he's doing great (hes such a softie!) but its tough to get pics whilst handling on my own so i decided to get a few of him exploring his viv. hes getting used to my big camera too lol

hes starting to use his hides now but most of the time hes still up in his fake ivy. he even used his LED's tonight!

he likes to venture out of his viv too which makes it easier to get him out for feeding and handling but made these pics a little more difficult to get - doors were open lol

he met my 18 month old son tonight (no touching!) and dominic loved him - not scared at all - he kept sticking his toungue in and out and shouting 'snake!' it was great

hes only just shed so hes looking super vibrant and shiny

he does love his LED's, i have tested them for heat so im happy for him to play with them.

everything is going so well - i couldnt wish for a better snake. he comes out of his viv of his own accord most of the time, he never strikes, he feeds easily, hes pretty active and very playful not to mention stunning to look at!
he has his own cheeky personailty already and has charmed everyone in the house! everytime i go to see him he's peeping at me from some obscure place - he loves hide and seek lol
the worst he has done is to rattle his tail the very first night i brought him home - and that was after a 30 minute car journey.

i only have two first's left with him - poop and bite. im expecting the poop sometime around tomorrow that will be 4 days since he fed. i cant ever see him biting me unless i do something stupid like dress my finger as a mouse/pinkie

Wow hes gorgeous, he has lovely colours on him.

I love the pics of him on the LEDs, Tango loves doing that. The first time he did it we thought he'd gone missing cos we couldn't see him in the viv, then my son noticed him on the lights lol.

Btw what is the white strip that is covering the LED wires up? I'm looking for something as Tango keeps swinging on the wires.

Best wishes

Catherine xx

its just some cable trunking that i got from b&q and cut to size. the top opens up so you can get your cable down it then clip it back down. see HERE it has the same sticky spongey stuff that the LEDs use. its good because he cant fit down it!
