So what is this Amel 50% het anery 50% motley

So does this mean the amel is het for anery and het for motley for the amel gene or the anery gene ? I don't quite get it seems confusing..

50% het is possible het, means it may not actually have the anery gene.

if you breed Amel 100% het anery, motley to a Amel then the hatchlings would be amel possible het anery, motley

motley is not asigned to any specific gene :)

hope this clears it up for u mate

Yes that makes sence thanks Andy, Do you think it would even be worth breeding a Male Caramel 100% Motley to a Female Amel 50% Anery 50% Motley in a few years time , I want to aim for atleast a couple of motley's in the clutch to keep for my self and then to breed them in another few more years..

the 50% possible het means one parent was het so the babies have a 50% chance of inheriting the gene and also being het

I don't really care about selling them i just want to keep back a pair of motleys and give the rest for free on the forum , but i think i may give it ago in a few years.

What would be the ideal corn to pair up with my male caramel het motley ?
