I am sick of yahoo answers! Its full of stupid people asking stupid reptile questions! "do I need a heat mat for my snake? I thought it didn't need heat cos its cold blooded" it makes me so angry! I go on there trying to shed some light and get totally flames by people who've never owned a rep! It infuriates me seeing people searching for a chameleon or a hot snake knowing nothing about it. And when you try to help they tell you to **** off. These people are a danger to animals. They're unwilling to do their research yet they still manage to get their hand on animals. It makes me a little sick |

it's rant morning!
But yes i completely agree with you, they should be asking these questions BEFORE they get the animal!
I've been antagonising for about 2 years about getting my first snake, bought books, joined forums and read til my eyes might fall out and i see little baby corns in my sleep, yet these people pick them up like a new pair of shoes! |

Give us a link to he one your being flamed at, I'll help you out :) Unfortually, their are some real idiots out there, and they are the owners that are always picked out when anti-rep campaigns are done. Sadly, idiots that cannot look after animals seem to get together with another idiot and breed and produce more idiots, no offence to anyone lol
Just look for the sex questions like "Can I have sex as I wasn't born with a condom on" that will cheer you up lol |

As a foster mum for an animal sanctuary I see what happens when the novelty wears off or they realise they've got the 'wrong' pet. It really makes me sick too. I wish everyone would do their research before they get any animal it would save a lot of pain and suffering. |
