Is it possible for my snake to hurt itself from falling off the roof or walls of his viv? He's become super active at night and gets himself into the grooves of the roof - exo terra viv - and then usually falls off! I've got a layer of aspen down but i'm considering putting paper towels under it. I thought they were supposed to know when something was unstable or unsafe? what worries me is he's falling onto his hides or waterbowl and the KEEPS DOING IT!!!!
Help?

also im not sure a "baby" corn should be in an exo terra viv, perhaps a faunarium would be better depends on age obviously

Well thats what i was thinking! But i've been told it'll be ok cos its got loads of greenery and hides for him to feel secure and he does seem pretty happy exploring it, I've only had him a few days so cant even handle him yet!!!
But during the day if i move too much or get too near him he gets rather upset and freaked out so i'm not sure about it! he's 3months ish old.

I also have the exo terra viv, and my snake does the same with the grooves and falls all the time (so I took the background out mwuhaha) , I think they will be fine
Mine seems to be fine anyway.
I have leaves covering wherever he falls so it isnt a hard landing :)

My snake is always up on top of the background, she falls off now and then but seems fine. I've got leaves covering most of the background though so she's always got something soft(ish) to land on. Not sure if its safe without the leaves though, its quite a height.
