Hiya guys

We went to pick my Bloodred lady up today and after choosing no 5 in my thread a few days ago I actually fell in love with the snake who was no 1.

After seeing both of the girls in the flesh, I thought no 1 looked better than no 5, plus no 1 settled straight away in my hands whereas no 5 covered me in stinky pooh lol.

The no 1 snake has now been called Phoenix and she is now tucked up in a warm hatchling box although I did take a quick photo before she was put in it for a week of no handling.

So here is Phoenix, I hope you like her:

Best wishes

Catherine xx

What's not to like?

My first corn snake almost was a Blood Red, the breeder took the only one of that morph it had out for me, and the thing instantly started rattling his tail and hissing...

So then he got out normal that seemed enthralled with me, so I got him instead. Glad I did, he was an awesome snake.

Congrats on your new snakey though!

Catherine she is a really gorgeous girl. Sometimes you really do have to go with how you feel on the day. When I first held Dangerous in the shop I was expecting him to be really skittish but he was really good to handle and I just couldn't say no to him.

Look foreward to more pics once she has settled in

Thanks everyone for your lovely posts, I'm glad you like her. I'm chuffed to bits with her and really pleased that I went with how they looked on the day and how they handled rather than just picking no 5 cos I liked her on the photos.

Best wishes

Nice colouring and a sweet looking snake.Sounds like you don't need to put in much work to calm her down which is good news.
