i got my first corn last saturday, she is a hatchling and my guess is about a month old. she fed yesterday around 1pm and i was wondering if it will be ok to handle her today after only 24 hours. ive seen people say you should leave 48 hours but is that necessary? cheers

yeah 48hours is necessary, she needs time to digest the mouse. imagine running round a field after having xmas dinner, thats what she would feel like lol

That could be possible. my karma sleeps for two days when she feeds. so id advice to leave snake for the 48 Hours. Try not to stress her, i know its hard lol but id advice to leave her

i know, i can enjoy looking at my snake through the webcam is set up next to my tank, so i can be in a different room watching Tv and occasionally see if my snakey is out so i can look at her through the camera

Thats a good idea with the webcam. I've found some cheap Pan Tilt Zoom IR cameras from Hong Kong on ebay that I may get! That way I can look around the viv when I'm at work or by the TV!

Have you not read the umpteen posts on handling after feeding?
Snakes can regurge even after 48 hours, just because the bump is gone, doesn't mean the sludge is, I can promise you, 48 hour regurge is beyond nasty, but is highly unlikely.
