Just fed Beetlejuice tonight and I got the fright of my life !
He has moved up to small mice recently and tonigh he struck and (tried to) coil.
Wow it was amazing the fastest thing I have ever seen !! |

LOL - it's marvellous when they do that - never get tired of watching it!

Some of the snakes on here constrict so hard that they burst the mouse open!!  |

And that's a treat worth waiting for.  I'm lucky in that mine always strikes and coils, so feeding time is always fun. I never imagined anything that usually sits so still or cruises around so slowly could suddenly turn into a ballistic missile. |
