Not really, they come out in their own sweet time usually. If she's in a high traffic area of the house, such as the living room, then the sound of the tv and people in the room will be foreign to her. Try to keeps things nice and quiet, and leave her be. Some snakes are more confident than others mind, so if it turns out you've got a shy snake all you can do is work on getting her tame enough to handle when the week is over.

she'll get used to you but theres no guarantee that she'll be out all the time - our lucien hides all the time and only sticks his head out when I'm moving the fauns or lifting the lid whereas Mont is usually chilling across his plants all the time..
eventually she will get used to you and being out a bit more
out of interest what is she being kept in?

Sounds similar to mine, Casper will only really peek out of his hide if your opening his faun for a wate change or whatever, and even when he is out i don't see him all the time because he burrows alot.

Were as Reggie is out almost all the time, He barely even uses his cold hide anymore, just lounges in his plant or vine, and half the time when he's in his warm hide he's half in there and half out.

True - I've found mine go in phases. Half the time it's 'Do I know you?' and the other half they're in yer face: 'Lemme out!'

Awkward little gits!

You say she is annoying now because she doesn't come out
wait until your trying to sleep and shes banging the lid, or climbing and falling with massive loud thuds and waking you up, or pooing on your bed xD!
You gotta love em though whatever they do :')

Unfortunately thats just the way some of them are. Out of all mine, Izzy and Alice hide most of the time although occasionally I will see them moving between hiding spots, both the butter motleys are pretty nosy and i regularly see them sticking their heads out of hides or moving around at all times of day. My new hatchling bloodred is still quite shy although i do sometimes see him moving around in an evening, it's not very often.
I would try not to get too frustrated although I know how hard it is. Once your snake has settled down she may be more willing to show herself. Try not to rush to the faun or make any sudden movements if you see her out and she may get braver.

After feeding I usually don't see much of Izzy for about 48 hours and then a day or 2 before her dinner she's out all the time!

i keep her in a setup which is like the one described in this post :
http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9878

i think she is only a few weeks old or maybe a month old so she is less than 1 foot long and as thin as a pencil
