my 2 female dragons are fiting now after ages, they are normally fine but this last week cassie (the smaller one) is biting monicas (the bigger one) neck.

she runs up to her grabs her neck and monica waves her hand the she finally lets off and they head bob at eachother and flare their beards then leave eachother alone.

then do it again at a later point.

anyone got any ideas. its only these 2 by the way peggie (the 3rd female) sits out the way and is never involved. just these 2.

also as a further note cassie is more active than usual running all over the place.

cassie is only a little bit smaller and slimmer but we believe as we have been told by the previous owner they are about 18 months each. they have always been fine and im sure she is female by the lumps on the underside. they are all the same on all 3.

I would've said a dominance issue, but if they've been together all this time and not done it, then it does sound weird.

I've had my beardies quibble a few times with dominance, however I've only ever had them biting the back or side of the neck when the males are put in with the females for breeding.

Lumps normally suggest male!!
Biting the neck sounds like breeding behaviour.
You might have to seperate them....

thats what beardies do - you need to house them seperately
