Ok, so last night I went to my friends brothers birthday party. It was a great night apart from I got quite drunk, I slipped over whilst I was shaking my bottom, cause everyone had spilt drinks when they were dancing. It was bad enough that it was in front of everyone, what made it sooooo much worse was that Ive hurt my knee really bad, so as well as a killer headache my knee is throbbing, it hurts so bad, I cant stand up on it at all and even worse I cant even straighten it. It hardly hurt when I did it, I just carried on dancing and drinking but I knew about it this morning! Why does all of thepoophappen to me? :(
Also I know you arent doctors but do you think I should go see one? I cant walk at all. :/

on a more serious note... I hope you're okay. I suggest going to the doctors tomorrow if it doesnt feel better.
But don't tell them it was the result of drinking ! because they will have nooo sympathy at all!

Hahaha, yeah I said to my dad I slipped on a spilt drink, my mum knows I was sh*t faced when it happened but I wouldnt share that with the doctor. I was shaking it on the dance floor mate!! Oh yeahhhh!! :P It was a fantastic night I must totally admit that, its a shame about the knee, its killing me but I was certainly enjoying myself! :P

Get some crushed ice or frozen peas on it to try and help bring down any swelling.
Go and see GP, you may have torn a ligament or something, in mean time take painkillers.

Well, glad you enjoyed yourself, but bad luck about the knee!
For a start, try some Ibruprofen (only google it or read instruction leaflet to make sure there are no reasons - such as allergy etc, why you shouldn't take it.) It's an anti-inflammatory and painkiller. Possibly you've just got a bad bruise, but if you have any more trouble you could try a doctor or walk-in centre, or even a pharmacist.

Theres no such thing as too old!! :P Ive certainly been taking painkillers. Ive had 5 diclofenac today and it still flipping well hurts!! :'( I was saying last night I need to go to the hospital about it even though I think the alcohol was numbing the pain, lol. Poor me! :'( :P
Edit - BATS I had an amazing time, I cant take ibuprofen at the moment cause of my blood pressure but as I said Ive been taking a few too many diclofenac. :P

At the risk of grossing everyone out ... in the 1970s me and my then OH were on holiday in Cornwall. One evening we went over to Newquay to the Jolly Sailor pub (remember that you ageing hippies/surfies?) and I got on the scrumpy ...

Omg Lilith you dirty mare! :P Flipping heck! Thats dirty! But all the best hangovers happen in Cornwall! Ive been going like 5 times a year for as long as I can remember and people always end up being poorly! :P Its a shame drinking does so much harm because for someone as shy as me it works wonders!! :P
And thanks! Im pretty much done now, Im really gonna hit it hard tomorrow and get it finished, Im dreading school! :(

Mum just got home with my painkillers so hopefully Ill stop hurting very soon! :P I think I was a little bit of a naughty girl, and at that point my friends I was misbehaving with were a bit older than me.
