Hypo is a morph, het is short for some long word that means the snake holds those genes in its makeup but does not show it in its appearance. :)

Het is short for heterozygous, which means the snake is carrying a recessive gene but not showing it. Nearly all the morphs for a corn are recessive.
To get an expressed hypo fire you would have to put two snakes with those hets together.

the correct term would be het hypo, diffused, amel because there isn't a gene called 'fire' (its a combination)

het = heterozygous = genes come in pairs, if they are different then they are heterozygous
hypo = a morph = reduced black
diffused = a morph = reduces pattern on the lower laterals and removes belly chequers
amel = a morph = totally lacking black
