Hi guys, just registered :)

My husband surprised me yesterday for my birthday by letting me get a baby corn snake :)

She's female and approximately 6 or 7 weeks old (I'm unsure of the exact date, but her first feeding was on the 25th of July, maybe you guys can help pinpoint the week she hatched).

No name yet, I'm hoping she lets me know what it is soon :)

We also have a juvenile sumatran water monitor named Darwin. He's about a year old and about 4 feet long. He's a champ, and dead friendly, and loves attention :)

I live in the UK now, but am from the States originally. Had a corn over there as well who was just terrific.

Can't wait to watch her grow and see her personality emerege :)

Oh and pictures will be coming, I'd just prefer to let her settle in for a few days, which is when I'll feed her, and then two days after that I'll get some photos :)

She's a normal. Mother is normal and father is a creamsicle. So I believe she's what most people refer to as "pot-luck" if I breed her.

Thanks for all the comments on Darwin too. He really is awesome. My husband and I bought a new house last year and just couldn't agree on what breed of dog to get, so we settled on the water monitor :)

House trained, craves attention and comes when he's called for food. He's like a big scaly lap dog really ;)

if that's the parents you have a Hybrid snake called a rootbeer, so if you choose to breed her the offspring will be hybrids

Ah sweet, thanks for the info. Never bred corns before, only thing I've bred before is rats (food for the beast that is Darwin). Might give it a go someday, but it's nice to know what she has as traits genetically.
