Sometimes the Hypo gene reduces the amount of white, other times because the hypo gene reduces the amount of melanin (black pigment) and amelanistic has no melanin there arn't any visual differences. |

i'm not too sure about hypo amels so i cannot really comment on that but, there is some thing i can comment on.. Congrats on getting a new little snake

i think hypo amels tend to lack large amounts of white but im sure eeji will put me right |
