Hello, i am hoping to get an hatchling cornsnake soon and was hoping that someone could tell me everything i need to keep the hatchling all the way up till when the snake is an adult, at the minute i have: a heatmat vivarium hide false plants climbing branch thing, i was wondering more about the heating and sizes of vivariums and whether they will be able to stay in a viv to begin with or would have to stay in a RUB to begin with and whether they would be able to stay there throughout there life obviously increasing the size, which is the better option... thanks |

to be honest you are better off buying a RUB or a faun if you are getting a hatchling, they tend to prefer smaller spaces (and it means when snakey is in his big viv you can think about filling the faun with another snake ) you need to also make sure you have - a thermostat which will regulate the temp of the heatmat, also some digital thermometers - the dial ones are rubbish http://www.thecornsnake.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9878 this thread has some really good info on it |
