This made my morning!!
Blitz hasn't eaten since March, that I put down to mating behaviour, and last night I offered him a medium mouse, did the norm, took all his deocr out beside one hide, laid down the newspaper, I couldnt wiggle the mouse so I used my hands as the tongs broke.. 
I got up this morning feeling peed off at being kept awake half the night by my sisters robotic baby shes gotta look after for the night, at quarter to seven, I checked Blitz, nope, mousey still there..
so i said to myself well I'll give him an hour to feed it, so I lazed around for a bit then I realised it had just gone half eight, I walked into my bedroom and there he was licking the newspaper where mickie had been with a bulge going down his throat!!!

I dont care what he read/did, as long as he ate!
if anyone else has a non feeder, persistence and patience is the key, as long as there aren't any major health problems, snakes aren't stupid, they WILL feed when they want to!! |
