Substrate (bedding) isn't actually completely necessary.
Some keepers have just paper on the bottom, others can have an inch or so of Aspen or similar.
I use different things, ranging from Shredded paper to aubiose and in one of my vivs I have practically nothing.
It's keeper preference really. Some like to have it as natural looking as possible.

I agree with Phil bedding isn't actually essential,

Just that snakes will slither with ease on bedding and may have difficulty on bare wood, some substrates hold heat a lot better than others and snake pee would just soak into the wood and make it incredidly hard and smelly to clean without substrate,

otherwise mate i looks good. Make sure you get a fair sized snake for it though, smaller sized snakes could get stressed.
