Have you got some room at the top for them to get out of the water and bask? Bet the pet/aquatic place didn't tell you they need to bask did they? They're really cool little guys.

Make sure they cant climb up and escape...we had one who was always getting out no matter what we did! Also they shed and leave behind an empty shell, you'll think you've gained an extra crab if you're not prepared for it.
Ours used to love a bit of cucumber now and again.
They are funny to watch, especially if there's more than one wanting to sit in the same place.

So cute! What do they eat? Please you have to go crabbing! lol the crabs get a snack out of it and you get to catch crabs although it's probably not as amusing when they are your pets as appossed to doing it off sea side pier's.

They like the frozen blocks of food. They'll enjoy the bloodworms. If you can get some shrimps they really love those!! Not too sure about hermit crab pellets. Maybe ok as an odd treat but might be a bit too dry? Only way to find out is try some and see, but they'll never be as good as frozen stuff.

I'm loving the new tank and so are they judging by the photos!! Ours used to love the frozen stuff. It's everso easy to get, just go to anywhere that sells tropical fish. Yours might not like shrimps but they were ours favs without a doubt! I could have spent hours and hours watching ours, they're fascinating little creatures.
