My gosh! I hope you called a doctor - you may well need reconstructive surgery, or at least stitches! |

I'd say a hand transplant!! Well, it won't need feeding for a while after eating all your flesh like that! |

What....no tongs ....you should know better !!!
I dont know why but it always reassures me knowing that an expert like you can get tagged Eeji !!
I must admit it does look nasty though ....I am sure you needed a stiff drink (probably more than one) to deal with the shock!
If you are now too scared of her and feel you cannot face handling and feeding her....then I will do my duty to the forum and offer my services as a new home for her - just to help you out!

Oh that is so funny. My friend has got a prosthetic arm you can have if it turns gangrenous and has to be chopped off. I'm sure she won't mind donating it to a good cause. |

NOOOOSE DON'T DIEEE!
That's why you should always wear gloves :o
On a serious note though, I'm surprised it got blood. I've been bitten many times by my hatchies and it never got blood. |
A very special super, duper thanks for K :3 |

Glad you're OK :)
My MBK got me at feeding time the other day. Started swallowing my finger and was up to the knuckle by the time I got water over him. |

my amel stripe (same snakie) bit me once for not using tongs, and the cheeky beggar constricted my thumb too. so she was holding on for ages as i thought i know ill wait till she lets go and thinks im dead.................. DUHHHHHH I HAVE A PULSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! idiottttttt. so off i went to some running water after about 3 minuites of wrestling. and i had a perfect mouth shape of a snake with about 20 little (and i mean little) scabs after.
looked good tho! :S |

You watch now though, its feeding time again on Saturday, no doubt i'll lose a limb or something/. ha ha ha |

Oi, why all the sympathy for Eeji? I don't remember getting much when Saracen nearly took my arm off and mine was a real wound, with real blood and swelling and some sort of allergic response and it took five weeks to stop itching and swelling and I'm not even exaggerating (except for the nearly taking my arm off bit).
OK, jealousy aside, I do hope you survive Eeji. Take lots of Ibuprofen, keep your fluids up and take a week off work to lie down in a dark room and you should make a full recovery. |

I must admit that I do feel sorry for poor Sammysnake....she is right when she says that her bite was so much more horrific and traumatic than that which Eeji went through but it was laughed off whereas Eeji gets all this sympathy.
Personally I think it is because he is a man and therefore has a low pain threshold and needs the constant reassurance that he is going to survive such a 'terrible' PIN-PR1CK....whereas Sammy, being a woman with a high pain threshold, was expected to suffer the consequences of that terrible gouge Saracen gave her....and what followed as though nothing had happened!
Rant over !!
