I'm trying to find out but if anyone knows what morph he is I would be very grateful. He's actually a little less red than this. I think my white balance was a bit off. Many thanks

Motley cubed is gonna be my guess. There may even be some bloodred in there too, pics of the belly would help with that.

Thank very much for the replies. I'm going to try to get some better pictures shot with natural daylight plus some of his underside. I assumed hypo as although he has black eyes there is no black colouration on his body. I've been looking at lots of images of motley's and the opinion given here. What confused me was that the first few patterns on his neck are fused and it looks like a stripe along his back. Likewise there seemed to be some stripes running down his sides. I've discovered Corn snake morphology clearly isn't something to be mastered easily

Looking at your Guide to Cornsnake Morphs he looks remarkably like the 'Strawberry Motley Adult'
(link: http://iansvivarium.com/morphguide/strawberry/ )

Although the pattern is not exactly the same the colour is almost spot on But if you say he's a hypo motley then I will certainly defer to you greater knowledge.

We can't be sure its Hypo, it may well not be, what Ian was getting at is that a Motley snake has reduced black too.

Ok as promised here are a few (rubbish) photos of his underside. I've almost no experience of handling snakes so it's a nightmare trying to hold him and shoot photo's of him at the same time. I hope I get better at both soon.

From his head down to between 1/2 and 2/3 of his body length he is snow white underneath-

and

Towards the tail some colour seems to bleed in from his sides and he shows a pale orange red on his underside

and

Hope this helps. As long as he is content and healthy it don't mind what he is, but it would be nice to say "this is Glycol, he is a xxxxxx Corn Snake."

I am really appreciative of peoples help in identifying him... and Ian's Vivarium! what a great site

Looking at that belly, the red diffusing into the belly towards the tail is a marker for Bloodred. My het bloodred i had had belly exactly the same as that.
