Here is a guide that helped me when I was worried about my Moo's right mouse size, this isn't a strict rule but it is something to go by, not sure if you have seen it before or not:

-Single pinks (2-3g) every 5-6 days. (Snake = 4-15g)
-Double pinks (3g x 2) every 5-6 days. (Snake = 16-23g)
-Small fuzzies (5-7g) every 6-7 days. (Snake = 24-30g)
-Regular fuzzies (7-9g) every 6-7 days (Snake = 30-50g)
-Hoppers (9-12g) every 6-7 days (Snake = 51-90g)
-Weaned (14-20g) every 7 days (Snake = 91-170g)
-Adult (20-30g) every 7-x days (Snake = 170+)

There is no harm in trying, if he eats both then all well and good.

Yes exactly, this guide says that I should be feeding my snake small adults, but last time he ate one he regurged so it must of been too big, seeing as he is long and thin i fed him two weaned instead and he has been fine ever since, if he is still looking hungry then like mikerichards said, there is no harm in trying!!

That guide must always come with a warning! It is only meant as a rough guide and should be used with common sense and a knowledge of your snake. Is there still a bump after he has eaten the small mouse Danny?

I think Mike is spot on (as usual )....offer him a 2nd small mouse and if he wants it he will take it.

Let us know how he gets on.
