This is my beautiful Cornsnake steven (He was named after a song by Alice Cooper xD), I had him since a hatchling about a year ago, I cannot believe he is a yearling already! xD.

(I hope this works, if not, the web adresses are correct xD).
Baby Steven investigates my arm. lol (Sorry for the bad quality, it was taken using my phone xD)
Young Steven investigates his newest hide out before it is put in his viv. (He has now out grown that.. shame... he really liked to hide in it xD).
Steven not long before shedding.
Steven having a drink. :)
Steven stares at the weird thing watching him lol. I think his eyes look slightly hypnotic there. xD
, Steven after shedding.
Stevens home (He was under the water bowl when I took this pic xD)

Sorry if the pics are too big, I'm not entirly sure how big they are so I just posted them as they are :$

By the way, can anyone here tell me what colour he appears to be? From looking around the closest guess I could make was he shows to be Amel, but I'm not entirely sure xD. I'm not too bothered like, I love him and think he is beautiful anyway :), but curiosity gets me xD.

nice snake
you could maybe get some plants and foliage from a rep store/online to make it a bit cosier for him - gives him things to hide under and explore

Steven is lovely and it is amazing to see how much he has grown from that little shoelace on your arm to the beautiful snake he is now. I know another forum member who has a skull like that, although I think it must be a bigger one as her snake still uses it....her friends were not too bothered about the snake but she has to remove the skull from the viv when they come round !

He has such strong and vibrant colours....and you are right, his eyes do look rather hypnotic in that pic!

I would definitely agree with the two suggestions given....and I am glad your dad is sorting out a guard for the bulb - corns dont feel heat like we do so Steven could easily burn himself or even crush the bulb if he curls around it. His viv would certainly look nicer and he would prefer it with some greenery, so that he has some cover to move around. I do like the branch you have in there.

Does he have two hides, one at each end? (it is hard to tell in the pic). I also notice the dial thermometer halfway up the wall in the middle of the viv. I have two of those at each end of Silvesta's viv but dont trust them at all (they came with the viv), so use a digital thermometer to monitor the temps. Do you have one?

xxx
