First off Bella, looking mighty fine after her little absence.
She constricts so hard she pretty much always bursts her mouse
Someone didn't get out of the way when she constricted extremely enthusiastically!
Luna possibly asleep.
Polishing off a fuzzy.

Bella is looking fantastic Jac....so good to see considering what she has been through. And you got some amazing pics of her. You are so lucky having a snake that constricts like that, even if it is a bit gross ....I have 2 very lazy adults who seem to realise that their prey is dead and is not going to be going anywhere so why expend the energy of trying to kill it!!!
I cant believe the way she is holding onto your fingers like that, must be an amazing feeling to be so close to her feeding that you can actually feel her moving....although also a little worrying !! I think a couple of other forum members have had similar experiences.
Luna is looking lovely, such a contrast in colour to Bella....and again you got some great pics of her. Love the way you have got her eating out of her viv but in her hide , very clever. I do like the 3rd pic of her, when she has that 'after feeding' crooked smile .

She would just NOT come out of her hide that day! I don't like to fee in the vivs so I usually try to tempt them out and then feed them outside but she wasn't having any of it - so, I just took her out hide and all.
I can't get over quite how healthy Bella seems to be after being missing for so many weeks. She must have shed as well in that time because she was blue last night - when we find her shed skin we'll find out where she was hanging out all that time! |
