Dont use house products, use specific animal/reptile cleaning stuff. Beaclean is good.

I use the Anti bacterial hand gel , after handling the snakes . Seems to be a very strong smell and alcoholic to dry it out on your hands , not sure about putting it on first .

One last jump , that's all we have to take Holth .
Wearily the old queen gathered heself to spring ;
Moreta gratefully began her litany .
Black , blacker , blackest -
They went between .

don;t use anything that you would use for human disinfecting. They are too strong and the odours will affect their respitory systems. Best to use a baby disinfectant at least, but it's easy enough to find reptile disinfectants that aren't expensive. I have a very good one, its yellow in a spray bottle, can't remember the name but it has a green lizard on the front. Very long lasting and you don't need much, and barly smells of anything :)

I don't use special rep stuff, I just use either Milton (baby steralsing stuff) or an mild bleach solution (1/10 bleach/water) and rince well to make sure there is no odour or residue left behind.
