They are rodents- they are born, live and die surrounded by poo- captive or not.

Didn't you have an hamster when you were little?

I think the poo just improves the flavour :P No i didnt have a hampster! I dont dislike them but little furry things dont really do it for me. saying that, i saw a wild rat today eating rabbit food. It was pretty cute.

Rats are supposed to be brilliant pets. They are really intelligent apparently. Like pigs and dogs.

rats pee every 20 seconds...apparently! Loved em till i found this out. Its only a teeny drop but still grossed me out!!!! I'll stick to my scaleys thanks! Although they gross most of my friends and family out lmao!!!
