i would personally not want to keep venomous but i know a few keepers that do and its not that easy to get a licence you have to come up with a report stated your experience is with venomous (so you need to do some courses or know another licence keeper) also state where they will be kept and all procedures you have in place should the worse happen there really is a lot that goes in to it. What a friend of mine had to hand in was thicker than 5 dvd boxes on top of each other, so you have to be dedicated. Also for the most part with keeper I know they have had to build an external building to get there licence granted. very costly each year the licence is £210 and £500 yearly for something.

i also aree the big snake should be licenced

im more niffed at petshops as any pet shop can have venomous snake put on they licence with out any work proving that they have a keeper there that know what they are doing

Plain and simple for me
Why have a snake that could kill you.
It's different if your experienced and keep big non venmous snakes but i mean why have a snake with a bite that could kill you.
I have been bitten a few times by my m8s non tame corn as he hardly handled it as he grew scared of snakes ( it has now been sold as he was scared) and it barly hurts but one bite of a rattle or cobra and it could be your last bite of a snake EVER
