only a quick question,

is a mat stat ok for use in a incubator or is it to imprecise?

it should do the job but I think there are better options like a pulse prop. stat.

cornsnakes, ratsnakes, bullsnakes, boas and day geckos

I suppose it depends how much the temperature varies as fluctuations can hard the clutch.

was advised by my local shop that it was ok and didnt need to buy another one.

suprised they didnt try to sell me one.
