just a little question been at aunts today and was handling tarantula and so was my son it dug its claws in but this led to the discussion what happens if our little cutie corn decides to have a nibble what will happen and whats best way to deal with it
First off it won't really hurt but will probably be more shock. If you can resist jerking away (might be difficult) chances are it'll just let go and you are less likely to hurt the snake.
If it does decide to try and hold on (unlikely) then I've heard that spraying water in its face will make it let go.
normally when they bite its bang then they let go, so the shock aspect might make you jump, if they do latch on like BE says don`t pull away, you can hold them just behind the mouth and gently push them forward, or dab some alchol or vinegar on their noses or sky plus something like trinny and suzanna and make them watch it, normally after a few minutes they just want to go back in the viv and watch their thermometer
thankyou for that not expecting a bite hopefully would reconise the signs the trinny and susannah would probably work better on me for an anesthetic self induced coma
