you could probably get away with 2 living together in a viv that size. the floor space 36"+18" gives you room for a snake up to 44" or 4'6" but you'll need to double up on hides at each end of the viv so they've got a hot and cold one each so they're not forced to share or get out. |

I used to have 2 males in a 4 ft and they were happy as larry. DONT feed together. I used to take one out and put in a hagen to feed and always moved the same one...That way it was the same routine for feeds and we never had any problems! |

They may well be and probably 90% will, but you are introducing an unnecessary risk. |

there seems to be a big taboo about co-habiting corns, well, snakes in general. Some species are cannibalistic but corns are very rarely. If two cohabiting males get the faintest whiff of a female they may get territorial and aggressive towards each other however if they are the only two snakes in the household it's unlikely and it's a risk that many choose to take with little or no problem. Providing they are of a similar size and the needs of both are met ie. enough space, a hide each at both ends of the viv, being fed separately and careful monitoring I personally don't think there's a problem. |

i was told boys fight but in actual fact i believe in the rare cases when they dont get on they just avoid each other, i have 2 boys together and introduced one 2yr after the other, i do feed in a seperate tank and have had no probs i have been to many reptile shows n shops where many corns male and female are kept together? |

There's just loads of people on there willing to argue.
Blackecho and Gingerpony like to go on there for the drama. It's like Coronation Street, but with more action |

I think the big difference is that people on this forum seem to realise that you are allowed different opinions. |
