does anyone play guitar? just wondering as i am trying to learn but finding it very frustrating... any tips

Get a good chord book - or off the internet and play songs you like over and over until your fingers get strong enough and until you can do it without looking at it then learn another song with more chords 
I haven't got ten guitars, only about 7, a bass, a clarinet, a dijaridoo, an organ, a saxophone, a trumpet and one of them wooden frogs that you play with a stick. Music was my first love before Corn Snakes  |

i have 4 guitars but can only play bit of songs too, i can link them all together and i look great but i can play a song all through,
my friends call me the intro man ! or rif naf !
I like metallic stuff but to damm hard....
we should all get together and gig we could be called the cornies... |

Since I was about 14 - some 13years (took a while working that out) It takes time to do the sing and play thing - I hate playing and singing - in the bands I just write the songs and sing (Sometimes play lead guitar if I'm in the mood)
Used to be in a few goth metal bands years ago but that is a different story all together... you wouldn't need to photoshop the pictures lol
Keep it up you'll get the hang of it eventually. |

Yes its true I am the 'Riff King' that Lisa speaks of, my problem is my fat fingers, I cannot play chords, only power chords mainly. |

I've been playing guitar for about 2 years on and off, and tbh I haven't picked it up in months.
Best advice I can give is get a few lessons to learn the very basics, then jsut teach yourself. That way you can develop your own style faster and you learn your own way.
