I was a bit confused, maybe an amel x candycane unless his colours mature as he gets older??? |

candy cane is a line bred trait of amel so there's no such thing as 'het' candycane. amel x candycane would produce amels with inferior candycane appearance.
creamsicle is made up of amel x emoryi.
candycane reduces yellow, emoryi increases it. The more yellow the creamsicle, the more emoryi blood it contains.
Candycane x emoryi may create a more orange looking creamsicle, like when there is more corn snake blood with a standard amel x emoryi. |

It's an amel yes. But a line bred amel to illiminate the yellow & allow the red & white to stand out.
Yellow takes a year to come through so some people could get ripped off with a standard amel sold as a candy cane as the yellow is not showing completely. It's better to wait until a year if breeding them yourself to be sure it's candycane. Even then as they age slight yellow can come through. |

Hey BLACKECHO, think my cecil has either been seriously underfed or the petshop gave me the wrong hatch date, he looks alot smaller then wiggle and he's 2 months older !!! |
