well if you get a male & female as your next two then you can produce something different rather than just hypos/hypo tangs, etc.
unless that's what you want ?
Maybe something albino ?
blazing blizzards (BB) are albino - blizzards
always better to have a male with more traits as long as the females have one of each trait too. Then one male can go with a few females & you'll get loads of different offspring.
if you got a male BB you could cross it to your SHT female. maybe get a mack snow female or one het albino.
you can still use your new male as the first pairing can allow the female to store sperm for up to 3 clutches of eggs - 6 eggs total.
Then you can pair her up with the other male in the same year to produce some thing different.
i guess this would be more successful after a couple of seasons of breeding & they gestate for 2-5 weeks so plenty of time to pair up females with different males if you were wanting to.
before & inbetween gestaion/egg laying multiple times, the female will need additional calcium for herself & healthy egg prodution. you can offer pinky mice once a week & a few wax worms to help her fatten up a bit & recover from the stress of egg laying.
you may even get away with not buying an incubator for the eggs as long as the temp remains between 25-27*C you will be able to hatch out females only. If there is somewhere in the house that remains within those temps then that could save money. Unless yu wanted to produce males or up the temp to get lighter albinos. |

well the male i got is that hypo tangerine (with bits of albino, jungle, giant maybe even bit of carrot tail all in there) he is the one that will be with at least 3 females.
might get some seperate pairs as well but that is down the line
like i said i am gonna get 3 females for him including the normal i got today. i really aint got a clue wot other 2 to get. still trying to figure wot effects the babys outcome and wot would be the best ones to get.
please feel free to tell me wot you would get |

The hypo tang has no albino as it has melanin in the tail, giant would be noticeable in a years time with weight & growth as a basic indicator. geckos cant be het for giant or have a bit of giant in them it's impossible. jungle shows up randomly in varying amounts so again it cant be het for this or be a bit jungle it either is or it's not.
hypo tang x normal = normal possibly some tang in them.
hypo tang x super hypo (+tang +carrot-tail) = hypo-ish & super hypo (with varying amounts of tang & carrot-tail)
hypo tang x anything else not containing any hypo = normals
hypo tang x mack snow or giant = 50% mack snow or giant no het mack snows or het giants.
hypo tang x super mack snow or super giant = 100% mack snow or 100% giant.
