Finally....he's all mine He is such a gorgeous little chap and so sweet The guy also threw in a bag of 10 fluffs to go with him which was really nice of him!!!

He was due a feed today so we tried him later this evening and he struck for it straight away. Will leave him alone now for a few days and let him digest and settle into his new home.

Anyway here are loads of pics......I just couldn't choose. Trying to think of a name too. Our other BRB is called Puddles and all our snakes have names beginning with P

lol thanks.... This one is a male and is about 6 months old. We've got a male and female and paid £175 for the pair. They can reach about 6 - 7 foot and usually the female will grow bigger than the male.

Are you sure it's not a colombian rainbow boa ?

The link above is a pic of one. I was curious as the colour is different, although I do not know much about them.

The link above ^ is brazilian rainbow boa babies & an adult.

Just checked the pics a few times compared to your snake & the pattern gave it away

I hope you're able to produce lots of healthy babies yourself if that's your intention.

Thanks Matty & Moneymaker

They are quite similar to Columbians but Columbians markings fade as they mature. We saw the parents too and they look great and anyone wanting a BRB.....make sure you see the parents if you can as I've heard of some people trying to pass the babies off as BRBs!!!

The two we have are urelated so hopefully in a couple of years time we'll have some pretty babies from them He will get a deeper red colour as he grows up. We chose the 2 we have because their eyelets along the side are all individual which is really nice

Thanks Gingerpony I noticed that they came up alot on the wish list. It was definately worth the wait for him though. Trouble is I want to show him off to friends and they all run away

I want one!

When I get one, I'm going to call him Diesal, because the rainbow sheen reminds me of oil and water. If you need a P name- you could use Petrol if you like.

If not- Perry, Percy, Paris, Prince, Petrelli, Pablo, Pepper, Peabody, Paddy....

Let me know if I'm close
