Is anyone going to the reptile show in Doncaster on Sunday?
I was thinking of going for a look round although I have never been to a show before and have no idea what to expect. |

I'm going! I'm picking up a CB07 male Ghost that's coming from Wales, hope I don't have to speak Welsh to him, lol. I've no idea what to expect either, I don't know if prices will be good or if people will be marking things up to cover the cost of their stand?? I'm after some viv bits and POSSIBLY another snake . . . .
As far as I'm aware the show details are: Its on Sunday 8th June at Doncaster Dome IHS/BHS members admitted from 10.15, £2.50 each, must show membership card non members/general public admitted from 10.45, £5.00 each |

Thanks for the details re: opening times.
I am under strict instructions not to buy any snakes, but it will be a good day out just hving a look round.
It will be a nice drive through the Peak District also if the weathers good. I have never been to Doncaster before, other than to change trains at the station! Hope your Ghost enjoys his trip to England! |

the 'POSSIBLY another snake' is definitely a 'NO MORE snakes' now as my sister's (hopefully!) picking up a Japanese rat snake for me tonight so that's it, vivs all full again and I'm soooo skint! |

not hugely as far as I can gather, I can't seem to find care sheets specifically for Japs. They're semi-arboreal - they like to climb and raid birds nest in the wild. Can be a bit nippy so I'm expecting to get bitten soon! If anyone knows or finds and more info on Jap Rats I'd be very greatful :-) |

What did everyone buy
We were really bad. We've come home with a hoggie, which we've called Wilbur and two Egyptian Toads called Cliff and Richard

I got a bag of aspen chip substrate Bargain at £5!! But no snakes (or frogs!).
I had a good old nosey round though and enjoyed my first show visit.
There is going to be a bigger show there later in the year with up to 200 tables- should be good. May think about getting my Royal then Was a good drive out and had a yummy Sunday roast lunch at a pub in the Peaks too. Really feels like summer today. |

next one we'll have to arrange to meet up and put faces to names??
I came home with my lovely 07 Ghost, he's a really nice little guy, a 22"x12" heat mat as I currently have 2 smaller ones in the 4'viv and a viv lock which cost me a whole £1 to lock up Satan
was blinking hot in there and very busy, not a great combination when pusing an 18 month old toddler round in a big 3-wheeled buggy.... did anybody on here see me there? |

I saw a few people with buggys, but I didn't notice a 3 wheeled one. I can just remember thinking 'this is awful to get around on foot so I bet they are having a right laugh in this crowd'. How did you cope? It was hectic wasn't it |
