hi all, I am now a fully fledged member of the corn Snakes owners club. I called to the Doncaster Dome show on Sunday (28th June) and picked up my first corn. I believe it's a CB07 (2 years old) is currently about 2 foot and weighs about 79gms. I have not had it sexed as it doesn't really matter what sex it is I will only be keeping the one.
I currently have it in a 9lt RUB, with heat mat and stat and kitchen towel as substrate.
One question I have is:- I was told at the show that it's last meal was on Wednesday (24th June), is it OK to leave it for it's week settling period without feeding it.
I'd say yes. Needs time to adjust and get used to its new home. Best to leave it well alone for a week, change the water regularly and everything should be fine. Did you get a feeding and shedding record with it? Just as a point of reference. Useful to keep a diary of feeds, cleaning and shedding so you know where your at so to speak.........Enjoy......widey

Thanks for the advice guys. I didn't get a feeding sheet, but was told it was feeding well and was currently on fuzzies.
Last feed was Wednesday (24th June).
I weighed it when I got it home (It came in the same cricket tubs I have so was able to remove weight of cricket tub from total weight) and it was 79Gms.
