Have fed lil one for the last two weeks on two pinkies,n shes wolfin em down within a matter of mins, was wondering if rat pups are worth lookin into at a later date as mice pinkies are going down quick n not leaving the biggest of lumps.Gonna give the two pinkies atleast another 3-4 weeks of feeding. Or is it not advisable to chop n change between rats n mice?

i would go from pinkies to multiple pinkies to mice fuzzys. will work out cheaper than rats in the long run.

rat pups are fattier and less nutritious as well as far as i know. stick with mice :) they're better and more trustworthy from al lthe experiance on here :D

your corn is never really likely to need to eat a rat, and the size of rat you could possibly feed would be way too high in fat, best sticking to mice for a more balanced diet with the occasional rat-pup-treat

remmy ok may just be me but dont think she is anywhere near ready for fuzzys yet... have found a place tht stocks larger pinkies so may get a few n see how she goes.Im basing everything on her n when shes ready so no rush for any of it.

Punumbear,First you didnt say you were only feeding small pinkies and as Brookestar says above, why are you "contemplating rat pups" when she is only on small pinkies anyway, espiecialy as you are saying she isnt anywhere near ready for fuzziy`s.

remmy, was only looking at rat pups as they are somewhat slightly bigger, having done some more looking about have found some companies tht do large pinky mice.To me fuzzies looked too big, it is harder to tell from photos. But now i know not to bother with rat pups i shall place order for larger pinkies.:O)
