I'm trying to decide on using calcium sand or aspen chips. i want the sand because it's easier to clean, but i don't know if my corn snakes could burrow in it like they could aspen chips. is being able to burrow that big of a deal for them?
thanks

bin the calcium sand, its bad news to keep anything on that stuff because its been linked with so many deaths due to gut impaction, and its even worse for keeping corns on it because it can cause respitory problems.

i hope thats helped you decide ;)

Also the sand will be a pain to clean. Gets everywhere and there's nothing worse than the sound of glass sliding along sand in the runners of a viv
