Fluffy has been in blue eyes for the last 2 or 3 days. Today, i checked on him and he was back to red eyes again.
I just wondered when i should bath him?
Today, tomorrow or in a few more days?
Also, how deep and warm should the water be? |

I never bother to bath Rizla. But then again, he never has a problem with shedding. He can take between 3 to 8 days from blue eyes to actually shed. |

bathing isn't necessary unless you're resolving a difficult shed. after their eyes have cleared their vision still isn't great so i'd advise just leaving him alone till he's shed.
if you do bath him the water should be about the same temp as the warm end of the viv (28-30*C) - CHECK IT WITH A THERMOMETER! - and about as deep as your snake's body. make sure you block any escape routes and don't leave him unattended |

ok so dont bath him unless he has shedding problems. I have put the water bowl in the warm side of the tank, to raise the humidity. |

bathing can add variety to their routine and is useful for difficult shedders but really isn't essential................. a thermometer is though if you do want to bath him. can't make that clear enough! |

ok then thanks. I might bath him anyways, to add some variety. I dont think he has ever been bathed before as far as i know so it should be an intresting experience for him. Thanks for the advice. |

I just bathed my littlen as shes just gone clear ready to shed and she hated it! Bless her she squashed herself onto a tiny ledge near the lid of the tube until i rescued her lol. I think I will follow your advice Gingerpony and just leave her to shed on her own from now on :) |
