Hiya,

Slinky is really dull and looking like she is going to shed soon, I have placed some slightly damp moss under the warm hide.

Should I offer her the next feed, due today? Should I do anything else to help her?

Thanks guys

no expert as mine only shed last week but i carried on as normal, fed on her usual day was just somewhat careful about the handling side as when the eyes blue they are somewhat blind so can be more defensive/lairy than normal,.the damp moss helped her to do it all herself and a totally clean shed.. so was best to leave her to let her do what came naturally.

love my animals more than i like people.

I am also not an expert, but from what i hear it dont hurt them to miss a feed.
handling them whilst in shed is not what they want, as sheddin makes them uncomfortable.

Sure some of the pros will be along soon to put me right lol

Some people don't feed, others do.
Personally I feed because my snakes will eat in blue, others won't so it depends on the snake.
The damp moss should make sure snakey shed fine :) Good job!

Hi Pauline, all snakes are different, i always feed mine and if they dont want it they will leave it, which they never have. Some people dont feed at all. You can try but if it wont take it then leave it until the next feed.
